| You must have an insufficient air or fuel amount. Check to make sure there aren't any leaks from installing the M50 manifold, not sure how the gaskets go on. Good luck |

| Alot of people seem to have this problem after putting in a M50 manifold. Check everywhere for a vacuum leak as that seems to be the most common problem. The intake boot before the throttle body is notorious for cracking.

| you're supposed to use one full gasket in the tb. and only half in the manifold. The tb is supposed to bolt up flush to the manifold. You have too much gasket in there.... As for it dying, did you plug the idle control valve back in? is the throttle body plugged in? check all of your electrical connections and double check all vac lines. Make sure you didnt miss anything. I would double check the Idle control valve to make sure its connected correctly.

| Well after alot of double checking, I found the big vacuum line behind the throttle body had broken it's tab when I installed it. The big vacuum line was completly off the manifold. I was able to find a replacement in the online parts catalog so hopefully all will be well after that. Do they recommend that you "shark" your car after doing this? I was going to do it regardless, but I was concerned that the car might not run as well before I sharked it. |

| I'm kind of against chipping unless you race and longevity isn't a concern. I'm simply erring on the side of caution, giving the consideration that a stock M3 more or less employs the highest street-usable tuning setup that still allows integrity.... I'm gonna get flamed for this... |
