I would suggest trying this on a scrap window first to see if it works. The plastics are a completely different formulation, and I suspect it will be very hard to uniformly sand a flexible plastic like the window is made from.

it should work because you sand bumpers and side skirts, and those are flexible plastics. thats how you sand it after you clear coat your stuff.

Hey - whatever you say, but in my experience (I do own a convertible) - the plastic window is quite a bit different in both rigidity and composition from bumpers and side skirts. The window is soft enough to fold, rather sharply when you put the top down. I don't believe that would be possible with a side-skirt or bumper.

Again - if you haven't done it - I'd suggest trying it on some scrap plastic window material first. No use making a bad thing worse.
