Climate Control

Hey, what up. (98 M3)

My blower for a/c and heat occasionally stops working. My climate control display will stay lit, but when I raise or lower the fan speed nothing happens.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

the fix is in there - your module has toasted it's self. I have the same problem right now and it only gets worse then what you're experiencing.

book mark that site, it comes in very handy.

got an extended warranty on your car? I'm getting mine taken care of that way.

Go here. Lots of people have had similiar issues. I got mine replaced free from BMWNA mnths ago. Read the thread.

A friend of mine has a climate control issue as well. It has to do with the vent settings, the climate control unit blows only through the "face" vents I guess you'd call them, and when you select "defrost" or "feet" with the dial, nothing happens. Any ideas?

Madhatter, nice to see you on dtmpower. I haven't been to bfc for a while, did you ever get your hiop headers installed, I love mine.

I'm on DTM every now and then but it's usually just to badger TDC and CMT.

yup, AA Crack Pipe, HIOP Headers, Rogue Engineering DMS. I like the sound the headers give when pushing the car, very nice whoosh from the engine bay.

add that to the other little mods on the car and it makes for a very fun little car.
