Tie Rod Assembly replacement

My steering wheel has a twitch, at about 1/3 of the way both left and right while parked or while driving.

Shoould I replace the Tie rods only/the tie rod assembly ( the whole thing)?

What else can be causing this problem? the Power steering rack?

might as well do the whole thing. your car is coming close to 10 years old. I am doing mine this friday. Check ebay for the entire tie rod assemblies, 60.50 shipped for both complete assmeblies. I am also replacing my control arms so I can get new inner and outer ball joints.

Thanks for the heads up,
I finally finished searching bimmerforums.com and the consensus there is to change the whole tie rod assembly also

I also saw that auction on ebay for the tie rod, control arms, and CA bushings. Hope the quality is good
