| What plugs are you running in your E30 M3? I just got finished rebuilding my engine, and I am trying to to decide which type of plugs I wanna run. I've always used the stock Bosch (can't remember model #). The cold Bosch plugs are out of the question, they'll foul to quick. Has anyone used NGK plugs? I think there are two that work, the D7EA and some other model.

| NGK D7EAs are terrific. On the fouling thing....this is largely due the the *weak* stock Bosch ignition. You can end the fouling issue by running an aftermarkey spark box and ensuring that all other ignition buts are up to snuff. I've run various boxes including Jacobs and MSD units. At the moment I run an MSD digital spark box. Stan

| Stan, I was looking for those by doing a search on Google and I found those plugs to be for sale at many ATV stores. Is this true? I know our cars use unique spark plugs Where do you get your plugs from?

You can get NGK D7EAs at NAPA auto stores. My local NAPA stocks them. For rare or tough plugs try www.sparkplugs.com or clubplug. Stan

| I've run the NGK Irudium plugs, but they are hard to get in and out, so I'm not ever going to use them again. There a slightly bigger socket then the stock ones. My car seams to like Bosh XR4CS plugs. I'm going to do a side gap on them and see how they work.

| >>>what model is that? do you have a pic of it?<<< I think it's called a Digital 6. Any MSD for distributor cars will work and plugs in with four wires and a ground. Other brands too. Stan

| I have ran both the xr4s and 5's from bosch with good results. I believe the 4 is a hotter running plug. I though Ngk was for Japanese cars only Tyler |
