ERT is the only one i've seen with a kit for the E30 M3. At $4995 it's not cheap though. Keep in mind that SC are only 40-60% efficient since they are crank driven.

i heard that the ERT SC never really worked well with the S14.
kept blowing head gaskets, and it doesn't make the 300 hp reported.

There's a guy in LA with the kit installed and I think he had around 236 rwhp which is....around what 280HP?

The 350hp car was supposed to be Adam Corrola's, right? He had RMS build it for him after LoveLines took off on MTV and in radio syndication. Seems like he is a closet Bimmer freak. At least he's got the right car...too bad he's soo tall I can't really picture him in the car....oh well, at least we know it can be done thanks to him and his pocket book.

But that's then the OTHER problem, money. $5K for the ERT system is nothing to what RMS wants. I talked with Osh, the owner of RMS about 3 years ago about this, right about when the systems they make for the E36 cars were getting good press. He was interested in using my car as a test-bed for the E30 M3 system, and was only going to charge me what (he said) amounted to wholesale for the parts. We were going to go with their Stg II system, which includes the after cooler, and put the Split Second Gen I kit on to get better airflow and more control over the system. He quoted me $10,500!!!!! This is WITHOUT any labor charges! I was about to do it....until I heard some of the horror stories of what happens when Osh has your car for a while and thinks he's got free use of it. I had been waiting for him to contct me about doing the entire project, since I figured they stories could just be rumors, but he never got back to me. And the money has since gone to pay off the car anyway.

Basically the ERT system is the least expensive KIT out there. You might be able to go to a shop that specializes in forced induction and get them to do it for less, but you'll have to look that much harder.

For that money wouldn't you be able to have a 2.8l S14 beast?

*Don't ask*

Why not go Turbo?

cuase a s/c fits our engine perfect, our engines lack ppower down low, so the s/c would help that. anyway, the 350 hp car is a 2.5 liter blown and water injected stag two with after cooler. they charge way too much for this, plus rms is shit, plus adam carola has the money to do it, and the last plus is that its a track only car. if any of you want this setup go with ESS ( or is it ERT?) id trust them over rms anyday.

you dont need to go to MAF but it is highly recomended. you will not get as much power from the s/c without the maf or a very high flow afm.

If I was that desprate for power, I'd just put in a E36 M3 engine. It'd be way cheaper and the reliability is there. But I'd rathar build up a S14 if I had the cash.

I'm installing my MAF first, then I think I'm going turbo. Definately get the MAF with it, ultimate tuneability.
