| It is still very much a Supercharger...it's a centrifugal supercharger that's gear driven and self-lubricated...that's their thing. They make some pretty large head units, but also make some very small ones as well. ATI makes alot of claims about them...that they consume less power and run cooler than conventional gear driven, oil lubricated systems, and their biggest claim (ludicrous) is that it is the only technology proven to outperform turbos. LOL.
I can pretty much guarantee that he's not using an F-1, F-2 or F-3 family head unit (the ones that make the 1000whp numbers), a D-1 (600-800whp) or even a P-1SC (similar numbers to the D-1, the difference is that the D1 has helical (straight cut) impeller blades and better bearings, whereas the P-1 has radial (curved) impeller blades, which are more quiet, but make less power). He's probably using a C-1 or C-2 series blower, which generally compete with the Vortech V2-SQ and V1 blowers.
