PBMW Orange M3

Did anyone see this months or last months Performance BMW with the 5.7 liter M3 in it? I was left speechless, what the hell? GTO will never touch my M, ever, and thats a promise?

5.7 litre M3. engine sounds good, post some pics of this ride up, sounds like its really got you pissed off

The car was very nice, except for the engine and transmission. The orange color and GTO badge sitting under the hood made me a little sick and I quickly went outside, popped the head of my M3 and inhaled the fumes of my S14. It was kinda like when spin on a chair and then you spin the opposite way to counteract the dizziness a little. It worked, but I am still a little upset to see such a nice car with such a wrong engine. It's a shame. I'll try to find pics.

lol. 320hp at 1500rpm. thats like 300 more then the s14 makes at those revs?

i cant help but feel the wrongness beaming from that engine bay pic. but if putting pushrods under the hood of a bmw makes the guy happy then hooray for him.

There was an LS1 e36 up at bimmerfest, Calgary this past year. It just made me sick. I do have to admit that it sounded good and i respect all of the work that went into stuffing that thing in there, but come on! The absolute least he could have done was stuff a 540 engine or better in there. pics below:

For peats sake, keep it BMW that's why we own them!

I think there is a diference of owners here. We like the BMW and the pefrormance of BMW and we try to acheive more performance every day.

Then some dumb ass buys a BMW cause he thinks hell be more cool and puts a Corvette motor in thinking he will be even more cool. Same shit as putting spinners on a M3 CSL or a GT3 thinking thats hot cause rappers do it. Fucking idiots dont even know what those cars mean to us enthusiasts.

Or perhaps the owners of these cars dont give a crap what you think about the pedigree of the parts in their car but simply enjoy that their cars are faster than you can imagine. power > pretentious

i believe in keeping bmw engines in bmws, but as the old saying goes, there is no replacement for displacement...
