Changing E30 M3 bolt pattern to 5x130mm Can I change the bolt pattern of my E30 M3 to 5x130mm? How would I go about doing the conversion? Last edited by needmorepower : 11-03-2005 at 02:33 PM.

You want to run P-Car wheels, no secret man... To convert to 5x130 you have to mount spacers that offer the conversion. Basicly a spacer about 20mm thick. It bolts to the stock 5x120 hub, heads of these lugs are recessed into the spacer so that they are flush. The spacer has a 5x130 bolt pattern drilled into it, with steel thread inserts from the back. You then need to bolt a 5x130 wheel to the spacer. In the end, as previously mentioned, you will be able to run about a 5-6in wide wheel with stock e30 M3 fenders.

I want to run 15x11's but they have a Porsche bolt pattern. I am going to widen the fenders but I need to figure out if this will work at all. Does anyone know how mcuh wider Azevedo Motorsports made their fenders? If I can only run 5" wide wheels with the bolt pattern conversion spacer then that means I would have to widen the fenders another 6" imches to have the rims fit, I think that might be too wide.

The rims are nice, the tires are hard to get, and it would be a lot of work to fit those huge rims under those flares without a serious amount of work. What wheels did BMW use in DTM and does anyone know if BBS ever made a 16x10" or so with a 5x120 pattern, otherwise I'm gonna buy 16x8's

Fitting 18's on the car is fine but fitting 15x11's which is more represntative of an old DTM car is not. HUH think outsidde the box, the car was never meant for 17's or 18's yet I bet if you have aftermarket rims that's what you have.
