As long as theres no personal attacks, theres nothing wrong with expressing your opinion when people post their cars for feedback. Some good some bad, part of the territory.

I won't over-do it, but my first reaction was around "doesn't look too bad". but the more I look at it, the more it doesn't work for me. I know there are sets of the all-smoked version for the same price. I really think the all smoked would look much better than the red/clear. I say this only because your car doesn't have a contrasting color (i.e. black). It's solid bronzit.

Just my $0.02, but I agree with the other guys, if YOU like it, KEEP it

Like stated in a post above. They just look a little too new for the e30. They don't look horrible but, not something I'd put on my e30.. if I had one.

Some interesting reactions amongst my friends. Everybody seems to like it better, apart from hardcore BMW fans. I guess once you are used to the E30 look, it must seems strange.

There is another set of these lights available that has the clear part smoked.

and that couldnt be put any better,we drive e30's not because we cant afford e36's or 46's.but because we know the fine craftsmanship and can recognise distinct and sexy lines of this great car.hell,any1 can drive a civic, just please (and i mean every1) dont try to make your beautiful e30 look like just another ricer wannabe. i get looks in my car that you dont get in rice.if you have never seen a great e30 that is styled to perfection, take a look at Mariano's alpine ETA,that thing is gorgeous (cleanazze30s)

You have a point. There are a lot of "purists" of which I personally lean towards, but I dont put too much stock into the close-mindedness of it since its philosophy can vary very little between "only factory parts" to just "well worn and common mods". Then everyone would be running around with BBS RS's and subtle kits and smoked headlights and side-repeaters and clean looks. Its just my preference, but I dont mind it when others do different things that arent an abomination of the German car modding philosophy all together. People get real sensitive on the topic and have a knee-jerk reaction to ANYthing that even remotely resembles a rice mod. I think things can be done that can still look tasteful and use these so-called "questionable" mods. Im just happy that they came out with something new and non-universal for the E30.

Thanks man. I always love getting compliments for the eta, since the ///M3 usually gets the bulk of the praise from people. I just got BMP side skirts as well.
