| Well whenever I find a E30 M3 in San Antonio. I will probably keep the S14 engine in there. If I find an E30 M3 with a salvage title then I will used whatever money I have to put in a S50. My 318i is going to remain the same. But if I find a cheap E30 M3 anywhere close to my location I'd buy it and then maybe start saving up for an E36. This is going to take a long time.

On the track: A lot of road-courses have elevation change, and having real torque coming out of corners is very nice, and 250+ horsepower coming down the straight is also nice. More than enough to wax an S14. People say these swaps kill the cars balance. I have a 3.0L in my 318, it weighs 2600 pounds, and I don't have any handling issues with it.Plus it's nice to be able to run E46 M3's to 130+ in an old, high-mileage E30 318. S14's belong in 2002's and 2200 pound E30's. But not in street cars and daily drivers.
