HELP! Calling All S14 experts, E30 M3 Engine

I want to buy an S14 engine for my 2002, however I have a well built 2002 engine with a good bottom end. If I can fit an S14 head on my 2002 block, so much the better. I know it is a possibility since I used a S14 gasket for my bored out engine. The gasket fit perfectly. So can I fit an S14 head on my engine? I know the timing chain will be different, has anybody done this before?

Thanks everyone. I gave up on that idea, everyone I talked to said that it is too hard to do. And they would not do it again. A full swap is a better way to go. I wonder what an S14 would do fully balanced and lightened with dual side 45 webers with stackers.

I've seen turbo s14's in 2002's doing 8 sec 1/4 miles.
There are clips on the web you can download and see for yourself.

I think on E30S there were pics of a S14 with dual side carbs. Got any more pics of your 2002?

I have seen an s14 in a normal e30 with dual webber carbs, now im not an expert on carbs but i am under the impression that they mimic what a piggyback ems does? If so, then i would go with that due to the simplicity, especially following a headache-engine swap
