| oh hehe. i dont know. i think you would need a relay for it. i am trying to figure out how to keep my fogs on when i flip on the hi's maybe if you find out how you can tell me. all i know is that your gonna have to hok it up to the relay fdor the parking lights. i think. |

| Hmmmmmmmmm. I never had electrical training or any experience at all, but here goes. To make the fog lights go on without the head lights, you could hook them to the parking lights. But this wouldn't let you turn off the fogs, could it? But if the fogs were ever off would that turn off the parking lights too? Somebody enlighten me. |

| heres an easy way, (i think), It hads to do with the relay. only downside is that you can leave the fogs on with out the lights being on http://thurbers.net/tim/frontfogs.html

| What's up Peter, Hoenstly I would just hook up your excisting wires for the fog lights to their own switch and leave the parking light set-up the way it is. This way you not only can have the fogs on with the blinkers but you can turn them on by themselves. Just a thought.Steve you can get a relay switch almost anywhere their not hard to install. |

| ATTN: Jeeves I should probably put this in a PM, but I am curious: Your sig has a quote that says, "Real BMW's have round headlights". I don't know of any BMW's without round headlights. Am I missing something here?

| HARDWIRED FOGS... Hey guys... well I went to the link Jeeves provided, and folowed those instructions, and it worked. I just jumped the #85 pin to the #30 pin with a peice of wire and bent it down, it works great. The relay you must do this to is in the close-to-you-righthand-corner of the fuse box when you are standing over it. My relay was GREY, and i just popped it out, hooked up wires as a test, it worked so I bent the pin down and jumped it and it worked when put back in. Now the fogs are on when just hte parking lights are on, and when the headlights are on, and when the highs are on... just make sure not to leave your parking lights on because it leaves the fogs on too, and they are a fairly high power draw... good luck, and thanks go to jeeves for the link! I have been waiting to do this and as it took me a total of 10 min, its an awesome mod for free!
