| SCCA Question - Modified E30 Not sure if this has been asked here before or what... What class would a car like an E30 with an M/S50/52 engine in it be classified as under the SCCA rules? Would it be compedetive in that class? -Prince      |

| honest I'm not positive of a section, but I'm 99% sure it would be in a mod class. Pick up a rule book, they're only about $15

| i dont know if there is any class besides some gt class, bmwcca club racing ud be in a mod for sure and in nasa im not sure but there most likely a class for you. scca's classes kinda suck for club racing. if ur refering to autocrossing the best class would be street mod which im currently preparing my car for, the 3.0 is going in right now and it will most likely be a very strong car in this class for the simple reason that the e36 m3 almost dominates this class and paring that engine up with a well tuned light e30 chassis should be a hot ticket
