I was told by a member of this fourm it won't fit. Cough...I met you at Bimmerfest...cough.

Since the m50 fits, why not do a 2.8 aluminum block in a E21? Weighs less then an S14 but has more potential! Much better option then an M20.

It does fit but VANOS controller sits too close to the radiator and it doesn't like the heat from it.

With a big enough hammer anything will fit. M20s and S14s are way easier though, since an S14 is basically a twin cam M10 and the M20 came in the Euro models. Nice job, did you take out part of the front bracing for the radiator? Kinda looks that way from the pic, and do you have any overheating problems?

Small piece was taken out around the radiator, but really nothing much. The radiator is from Opel Record and it's been modified whit racing type of cell. Large diameter very powerful fan in front of the radiator. No overheating problems.

This car was originally 315 -82 whit 75hp. M50 came from -91 525iA and whit chip it was dynoed to 210hp. Car weight was 1040kg.

I don't have this car anymore, but i do miss it..
