| 17x7.5 on E30 325is 1989!!! hey guys i`m getting my new rims on today!!! 215/40 up front but listen to this i can run up to 265/35 on rears!! i wanted to op for the 245/35 as it has the same rolling diameter as the 215/40...606mm but what are your opinions on the pros and cons of going with 245 or 265 on the rear?? i`ll post pics by the end of the day!!!! | No reason to tgo that wide in the back, IMO. Unless youre putting down some NICE HP figures, itll probably produce more drag and make grave/severe understeer problems. Id go with 235. WHat rims did you get? Post pics as soon as you get em on. I have 17.7.5 and I have 215/40. Next batch of tires I am going to see if I can run 235s cuz they look way too thin.

| You'd be out of your mind to run 215 fronts and 265 rears. Say it with me now... u-n-d-e-r-s-t-e-e-r ![]()

They comply with the JWl standard, made in japan Et35 front using adapter plates the rear clear without rubbing at all!!! sash!

| Yea, sounds to me to be Understeer City. If you want to run that but keep stock handling characteristics, you are going to need to remove your front sway bar, and for the rear install an Ireland Engineering 22mm adj. and put it on the TIGHTEST POSSIBLE SETTING!
