All E30 325i Sports had them as standard and they are 4 lug. Don't know what other E30's in the UK had them, I think most 325's did. I have these wheels, but I don't know the part number. I may be selling them this weekend.

Yes, I'm talking about 15"x7" BBS Basket Weave. I don't think you guys in the US got them, but we got them over here in the UK. The only car in the US, that got 15" BBS wheels was the IX and it has a different offset.

I will try and look on my Parts CD.

I've got the 14" inch basket weaves I don't think that the US cars got the 15" wheels. I am in the market for some new wheels because the basketweaves are a pain in the ass to clean. ![]()

Cleaning Basket weaves For cleaning the MSW gold basket rims I have on my 635, I use a one inch paint bursh, it works fairly well on those wheels. For my three I currently have Mille miglia cello's, and the paint bruch does not work there. I assume it has to do with brake pad compound.

Eric, There's a Euro-spec E34 M5 (Touring maybe?) for sale in Roundel that was apparerently federalized by BMW Manufacturing in SC. Do you happen to know anything about this? Neil - I'm interested in the wheels. What kind of shape are they in? FWIW, E30 M3's had optional 16" wheels in Europe. That is what I want for my iS with M3 suspension. It would look beautiful! ![]()

M% There was an M5 that was given to the Police around here to use when the plant was first bing built-it was mainly used for speedtraps on I-85 near the plant. But I thought that car was in the Zentrum (museum) in front of the plant. At least it was once, but thinking about when I went there during Eurofest this year it was not on display any more. Other then that I had not heard of them specifically federalizing anything.

I'm familiar with the M5 police car (shown below, taken from bmwm5.com) I have never heard of/seen any Euro-spec E34 M5 Touring on display at Zentrum. I figured it was just a special thing that the owner worked out when he decided to import it. I mean, who better to import/federalize your Euro-spec model than BMW Manufacturing? ![]() Oh well, no biggie, just curious. ![]()
