325e exhaust ideas/questions

Hi DTM lovers, new to the forum and new at owning a 325e. Will post pics later but now the big concern is the exhaust. I recently upgraded my exhaust right after the stock cat with 2.25 pipes, small resonator and magnaflow 2.25 single in/out. Sound is amazing but i feel i lost some of the eta torque, gains up high are minimal (if any). I already have a K&N filter and my next mod will be a chip ( TMS, dinan, etc) So my question is if i need to go back to 2" pipes even tho i get the chip or stick with the 2.25" and see how it changes after the chip.

I would just leave the exhaust like you have it, it's more for sound than power.

A chip is what you really need. Mark Dsylva or Jim Conforni (TMS) are the best.

Other than that if you can find a 3.46 LSD that will wake the car up quite a bit.

Don't waste your money on any other mods. Exhasut, Chip, Diff Ratio are the only things worth doing to an ETA.

Thx for the reply Potenza.. yeah i know eta's are not very good at accepting mods like any other car. I been told to go for the 3.25 diff.. even tho my MPG will drop, so as the top speed, which i find kinda awkward to upgrade and spend more on gas.

Now.. both chips ( Mark D. and Jim C. ) will give power on the whole rpm range or just at WOT?
