Dinan Chip... HELP

Just bought a Dinan chip for a 325e. Pulled the ecu out and put new chip in, motor would turn over but not start. I have heard that some people say that i may have to take it to a BMW dealer and get them to reset the car??? Does anyone know what to do????

no sorry but how much did the chip set you back?
have you took the chip out and tryed starting it up?

I got it for $69 US off Ebay. It should/will give me something like 26hp and about the same torque. But I put it all in and the car turned over but didnt start, so i just put the OEM back in and it and it started fine.

i have a 325e and put a copy of the chip in that my dad got from a friend. i plugged it in and it worked fine. Strange that it didnt work in yours. Is it a legit dinan chip or a copy?

Its legit, i read somewhere that u have to take the car to a dealer and get them to reset the car??
