1976 2002 interior

Ive always had my eye on the old school bmw 2002. This last weekend i finally bought one. I'm trying to restore it and make it look nice again. I was thinking about changing the interior.....

has anyone had experience changing their interiors? what do you guys recommend? I really like the look of the e24 six series.....please advise
