| speakign of the K&N Intake, thats what i got in my second one (also 325e), im actually tempted to get it back to stock. it came with it as i bought /saved it from the previous owner. (got apost with pics in the general discussion, "introduction of us 4",) Its a high flow airfilter..pretty much it. When you compare to the stock one, theres no much actual change. Besides some thign sneed rearranging, such as a relais box next to the fuse, steerign fluid reservoir etc. Been done , i got issues with the power steerign im gonna fix this Weekend. When you get a K&N with the surroundign intake box, its almost no difference at all to stock. Except the stock already has the intake parts to get the cold air in and keep the warm air away.so the enclosure for the cone filter. I mean look at it.Air comes through intake behind the grille (cold)-> goes into the filter compartment (box with square oversize filter),-through airflow sensor->rubber ellbow->intake. for optics, if i get the oem parts back, i might change the tubing from rubber to something shiny, but thats a maybe only. Why? I deal with what was know to be precision german engineering (84-94) and im sure its optimized to the max already. If it were some 84 Civic, id chuck a Cold air intake in immediately...but here i dont think i need to apply truck & steamer tuning...:-) Oregon can be dusty sometimes and when i see the trucks throwing out black smoke in front of me , im rather gonna make sure my airfilter is clean and keeps the filth out of my engine. Thgouh if i find a better airflow filter that fits into the stock box, possibly a cone filter, i might change that one. But so far, the K&N seems to look nicer only.and needs effort and reorganization in the engine compartment. as for engine sound, id prefer ratehr the "silent"-sniper :-) |

| haha i see what you mean. consider this, i also have a 00 accord so that might be why i was leaning towards the cai. but you really think that replacing the motors will make it fine? i believe it, it is old as shit, but nevertheless i hope that fixes the problem, as far as the windows go. |
