m52 in a 325ix?

As the title says... does anyone know if is possible to do the swap in an ix with and m52? I've heard you need the oil pan off the 535ix to do the swap and that is already a big problem but aside from that would the bell housing bolt right up? Anyone know of any other issues that might arise? Thanks
