confused on suspension kits ??

guys ive got a 325i se 4door 1988 saloon.

at the mo its 60mm drop which i dont like due to its poor handling.

i want to raise it up say 30 or 40mm all round.

now i dont know what suspension kit to get ??

i want the handling to be comfortable with less play and not hard esp over speed bumps and rough roads.

ive herd that the bilstein B12 is good with H&R springs...

what about oil shocks instead of gas shocks which is better that fits my criteria ??

to be honest with u how deep are u pockets. and how low do u want to go.? because i wanted to go for low and i order a cheap adjustable lowering kit from ebay for 200 and lowerd my car 3 inchs up front and 4 in the rear. i have to post new pics with it. but it looks great. and it handles alot better. but i know not as good as it would have if i bought a bilstien pro cup kit.
