Racing Seats

I've been looking around for the Recaro(or Recaro style, since not all were true Recaros) racing seats that were in some e30 models to replace the old flat vinyl potato sack lookin ones in my 325es. I currently have the sport seats in my 318i, but they were in the car (stock perhaps?) when I bought it. I've found some on e-bay and a few other places, the lowest price for a set being around $425(which to my knowledge, is a complete steal for a whole set, but bidding still going on).
My question is, Are there any other companies that make seats similar to these,
or am I stuck looking in junkyards and online auctions?

Not many aftermarket out there. Most of the aftermarket seats are big, just like the cars have gotten big. And to account for American's big fat asses. Anyway, these types of seats have a hard time fitting in an E30.

The old school Recaro was the SE style seat if you can find a set of those. They had about the same size as the sport stock seats.

Ive fitted a set of Autotecnica SSP24 bucket seats in my e30, wasnt that hard, I could use the e30 rails, however had to fabircate a bracket to hold the seat on the railings, all up, I reckon it takes about 8 - 10 hours.
Im getting the LK1 and LK2 mod plates sometime this week and parting with 200AUD for it :P

i was going to buy a set of seats from one of them ebay stores for 300 for both. and iodnt know if anyone has bought any of them kinda would like opions but my seats are trashed. and my drivers seat tilts left to right. and im in the middle of building a 6 point street cage for my car.

i just put seats in my car from a acura rsx type s and well the fit very nice and look amazing.
