1987 325i Buchmann bb 34,00 miles

Came across this car on Recycler.com steal of a deal. All original, garage kept. Performance cam, 4.11lsd. Momo steering wheel. German import performance done by BB in Frankfurt Germany. BB closed down in 1987 do to VW pulling out and the oil crisis. This might be one of a kind. Not bad for my second e30. I have been looking for 3 years to get something this perfect.

I got the car for $8400 on Recycler.com I had the timing belt changed, valve cover gasket, manifold gasket, replaced cylinder head bolts with star bolts. Had the brakes flushed, transmission fluids replaced, put in a 4.10lsd instead of the 3.64 open. New catalitic converter, plus muffler for $1600. So the car was about 10k and running like brand spanking new. Little history on this BB. 3 cars like mine were imported to New York from Frankfurt Germany. 2 got totaled on the highway, and mine is the 3rd one, this might be the last one. Its funny because I was not even thinking of buying a car. Usually I just window shop on ebay or recycler.com. I came across this car on recycler.com it had one picture of the car from faraway and it said 34k original, so I had to go check it out. I saw the car and took it back home, I could not have pass this up.

I am just glad we have some more information on it. I was looking all over to find something. You seem to have a true one of a kind. And now you have many E30's owners jealous. But as they said on R3V, I would strongly seek out some BMW specific magazines. I read them all the time, and your car would be a perfect candidate.

Yes, they are mostly European but they have American cars in them all the time. So even though they are published in Europe, have no fear, they do photo shoots over here. Anyway, your answer... Look into Bimmer, Performance BMW, and Total BMW. I feel like I am forgetting one but I recommend taking a ride to a book store to check them out so you can see what kind of stuff are in those mags.
