impulse sensor on spark plug wires

ok so i had this great idea to use msd spark plug wires on my E30 but now i was looking and theres a impulse sensor A. what the hell is that and B. is it somthing that i can reuses on my MSD wires or should i just give up on trying to use msd wires?

I'm upgrading my wires also...except i dont even know what impulse cables are....i have a 88 325 (super) can you describe what they look like? You should just get the wires off turner motorsport...its already made for you...140$ for 8mm i think with the impulse cable...i dont think my ignition wire set has an impulse cable...but please send pic or describe where they are?
