Canary yellow would be an under statement i think, very loud colour and a bit different for an E30, square lights were a kit done by Rieger a while back, i think they were used mainly as a demo on their testarossa W/B E30, not many were picked up.

Car looks neat, just dont like the seat color combo and the tacho on the dash, other wise well done.

Was this car orginally red when you bought it by an chance?

Car was yellow with diving boards, bottle caps stock m10 dynod it at 42rwkw and the current intior (electric recaro) except gauges and steering wheel no stereo...
Even the headlights were on it when i bought it ..
Yellow is definetly a loud color but has plenty of balls to back it up now The car is only driven on weekend and some night cruisin as i have a e34 dd...
I have tried to figure out tha original color with no luck as it is yellow everywhere ie inside doors , under carpet.... Even my paint shop doesnt no as any panels that where taken back to bare metal where yellow all the way thru....
Currently getting brake conversion, welded diff and garrett gt35 installed and future plans are smoothing body a bit more, retrim in black leather maybe yellow stiching with custon dash with all gauges flush mounted and some different wheels... Still a long way to go.
I think i have seen the red car your thinkin of.... Its a red 4 door with square lights bit of a shitbox tho..

^ red one had the same rims as yours, 2 door and was a 325i turbo and had just the standard smiley lights, couldnt get it registered in VIC so he was selling it, was gonna buy it but didnt wanna go through the hassle.

Sounds like your gonna put more work into it that sounds more suited the elegance and style that the BMW deserves, kudo's for the work gone into it man
