My cluclt pedal stays down on the floor

I try to bleed the clutch but its stays on the floor and it wont bleed what could it be the master cylinder or the slave cylinder help please the car is in the garage and i cant get out my dad's car so i need to move it quickly :P

what yr, make, and model? is the resivoir full? the bleeder valve closed? does it leak fluid when you press the brakes? on e30's the break and clutch resivoir are the same thing. so if you have a hole in either brake or clutch line or anywhere for that matter there wouldn't be any pressure to operate them. is there a return spring for your pedal? did this just happen sitting in your garage? why don't you just push it out of the way untill you can diagnose.

I bet its the master clutch cylinder. Same thing happened to me on my old e30 while I was driving though, it stuck to the floor and I had to pull it up by hand. New cylinder and the problem was solved.

Yup, it's a relatively easy fix but screwed up feeling when it goes "all numb" like that.

Check to see if you have leaks or if the clutch for is still there
