quick opinions

It's been 5 or so years since my e30 325 motor blew on me () but i still have the chassis sitting in my garage.. i came across an e30 325IS recently for about $1000. It's a REAL beater, it is easily in the worst condition i have ever seen an e30 in. i would strickly be buying it for the motor and tranny.

Now to the question: Should i buy the 325IS AND how much work would it be to just do a simple swap. Seeing how my car has been sitting for 5 years, how many things would i have to change/replace on it? My 325 has perfect interior and exterior, all orig so not doing it really isnt an option, it is but it isnt. i would hate to see the car rot and turn into the one im considering buying, and i would hate to get rid of it.

pls help me figure out my situation, and thank you in advance.

well I went ahead and bought the 325ic. Despite its look of being out of a junkyard, its seriously grown on me in the past day. My plan was just to swap the motor over or switch out the interiors, but seeing how the back wont really fit ill just need to pick it up, as well as the rug and other random parts.

I'm going to stick with the ic. Maybe find a s50 for my 325e. I'll post pics tomorrow sometime.

Any ideas on what I should do?

I was thinking the M-TECH II bumpers with the Nfinity I lip (i don't know what to use as sides yet, might just leave em be).

As far as the interior goes, it doesn't look like the seats or rug will transfer so should I re-do the leather black or red? im not liking the whole tan situation going on.

Edit: Its going to be re-painted white btw

when I take em off and put the stock ones on I'll let you know..They are broken though, well one side. If you look on the cars right side by the light you can see the missing piece.

Carpet for your vert?
This is the best deal by far even if you upgrade to their Ultra-Plush cut.

BMW 325 Carpet Replacement Kit

I would like to buy the grills asap, and yes I see that one is broken doesn't bother me. If you need help taking them off please ask.

And I have a factory grill that I will trade.

What is wrong with your carpet? does it have holes or just stink? if it has holes then i understand replace.. but if it is just dirty pull the seats and pull it out and pressure wash it with laundry detergent and if there are stains scrub them out works for me and looks like a new carpet when your done.

The rug is really nasty, and I'm going to change the interior from tan to black. About the grills, I'm going to try to work on the car as much as possible today so ill post when i get them off.

Those grills are hideous. Why would you want them?

Oop... Looks like you bagged on them before I got to them. Still, 100% agreed. Looks like a ricer owned the car previously, maybe?

getting back to my car tomorrow..and yea I don't like the grills all to much either..

Anyone know where I can get a hard top to my cabrio? I don't feel like ordering it from Germany. It would cost me around 700$ plus shipping, wondering if I should just order it or if there is a place I would be able to get one here in the states. Anyone know?
