how much to shave off "I" head to fit to Super ETA block?

Been really busy at work and it's finally time to shave the head for my e30, how much should I shave off the head to make compression bearable while using a Super eta block? have the 272 cam, 3 angle valve job, 19# injectors, chip, ported intake and exhausts, ported exhaust manifolds and intake manifold, new valves, oversize valve guides etc, just need to know if I can simply mill the head down or do I really need to shave the block? please any leads and info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I would definitely advise you to take material off of the block instead of the head.

thanks for the heads up but turns out I have high compression pistons after all (bought the car like that) so I'll just leave the head stock, unfortunatly I'll not be using the 272 cam, since the dwell time is too great and it'll make the head lose compression, still car should be ready this week, again thanks.

, now if only I can fins someone that needs a 272
