| When switching instruments clusters, it's essential that you install/use the correct CODING PLUG. It is model specific, that way u get the correct readings on the instrument cluster

| hey there cpoindexter. heres what you could do for performance! swap the 325i differential onto the 325e. but make sure you have the software, any tuner chip for the 325e, to raise its rev limiter to 5,300rpm as opposed to stock, so that the car for one makes more power, and for two the 325i more aggressive differential w/final drive will have more power to take advantage of for acceleration. That would be a quick little Eta and if I ever get lucky to find a jewel of one around here for cheap I'd be inclined to but an intake (or just K&N), chip, cheap, nice sounding exhaust, and the 325i differential. I've read the 325e's fuel and air ratios in the ECU have been mapped very, very conservatively for best economics, thus eta meaning economic or w/e. A chip has a huge effect on the Eta motor with an air filter, I hear. So go fer it and get you that 140bhp! After all those mods.. heheh |
