Falken RT-615

Does anyone have an opinion on the rt615 As both an everyday street use tire as well as an auto-x tire. I am driving 325e.

May wear kind of quick, but a great, sticky performance tire!

yea a great high performance tire but I would say you would be lucky to get more than 5-7k of use from them. But they would be nice for sticking in tight turns, and lauching while you are drag racing. So you will just have to figure out if you want to change them out after a summers use or not.

Thanks for the advice, I am going with it or the Falken 512. I am still running the bottlecaps(there is just something about them) so I have to go 14"

Those are some great tires! I had a set on another car, and they handled very well, and rode awesome too!

You say the 512 are good tire or the rt615s?

512s, very grippy, awesome in the wet too!

another tire to consider is some kumho spt's a friend of mine has them on his sti and likes the way better than the potenza tires it came with. He says it handles better and even brakes better than it did from the factory!

I have the 615s on my e46 in 255 40 17s all around. They are my track / autox tire but I have been daily driving them till my 18s come in. They have great grip and progressive break away. Only down side is that they are a bit loud.

Okay so my lust gave way to common sense!! I ended up buying the RT615.
HOLY CRAP Now that is a tire. I have set of Cooper 2xs on my MK3 Jetta, I thought they were good. But once you get the pressures figured out fot the 615 again HOLY CRAP. Thanks for all your guys advice.
