i just did a five lug swap on mine. you can use the trailing arms off an m3 or a z3 or a 318ti. youll need the calipers also. the front is tricky if you have the money e30 m3 is the way to go. but if you dont you can use e36 spindle and strut with an e30 upper strut mount. the problem is you have "modify" the lower control arm mount to add caster to the front. or else it willl rub the inside fender. you can pick up the rear setup from a junk yard for about 400 and the front for about 300. brakes and all. not including rims i did it for around 1000. its also alot of work about 12 hrs on the rear and 10 up front. im also a mechanic. if you want to guage it that way. i think its worth it. good luck.

if your looking at the 16 or 17" they will need spacers, the offset is to high

i wouldnt want to run spacers on my car.... in australia for one they are illegal... also u would have to run longer than normal lug nuts...

i dont live in the states but i have heard it is much easier to find wheels than it is in australia... why not just wait for wheels that are made to suit the e30 offset?

u were saying that this car is to do u until u have enough money to buy an e36... why dont u find a cheap set of weaves and put them on it and come out with a nice set of wheels and more money in ur pocket?
