Could I take the fan off without over heating?

HOw about the Pusher fan in the grill? When does that turn on?

my fan clutch has been broken for who knows how long, and I have no problems.

the aux fan kicks in when the temp gague reaches 3/4 I think... but you can always wire it to a on/off switch to manually turn it on/off. that's what I did to turbo-cool my AC since my resistor is broken and it doesn't turn on when the AC is on like it's supposed to.

Great, that's the answere I got from Bimmerforums too.

I read that switching out the Fan has a noticable improvment in power....
That's why I'm doing this. But don't really expect power, Maybe reach the limeter faster... starting at 3k..

Maybe it does do a world of diffrence.?.
Anyone have some comments on there switch?
