1992 318iC, things to look for?

I'm looking at a really nice 1992 318iC. It has 38,500 miles, 5 spd, power windows. Interior is mint, paint is near mint with little to no blemishes, convertible top is fine. It's the dark grey color (Can't think of name off the top of my head). Are there inherent problems that I should look for?

Just remember it is not the quickest of cars. It is a good amount slower than the 318is. But if it's mint i say go for it. Take it to Motorsport Connections or call Billy and he will tell you what to look out for. GOOD LUCK!!!

Profile Gasket leak anyone?

Never owned a convertable but i would think you might want to leak test the top. Ask the guy if hes ok with that.

Yup, with that kind of low mileage, make sure the profile gasket has been done. Also, double check on the retracting mechanism for the soft top, they have a few inherent problems.

I thought i saw that for sale over there when i was waiting for my moms sweedish machine to get finished. Looks pretty good. With that kind of mileage its hard not to pass up.
