New User, Couple of Questions....

Like I asked before what about the 320i? I dont think im gunna have enough dough ofr a 90+ 318i, im looking for something no more than 5K, so that why i was thinkin' the 320i, 87, 88? kinda sits between the 318i and 325i for both price and performance...correct?

Finally found some good info, , and in my mind my options seem to be a '85 4door 323i 150hp..., 87-89 2Door 320i 130hp..., '89 320is 190hp but im assuming this is either expensive or rare or both.... then theres 85-89 2or4/door 325i 170hp...

What do you guyz recondmend outta this list, keep in mind Price/Availability/Tune-ability/Performance.... etc. Thx alot guyz, just so many options im kinda stump as to where to start.

PS my main thoughts are on the 323i vs the 2/Door 320i......

The late model 320iS with 190hp has the M3 engine (S14), I don't think I have ever seen one of those in North America, they are rare. They were sold in Italy.

Well I wasnt going to sell it this soon, but if you want a 89 325i i got one im going to be selling. it has some problems, but nothing major at all. the speedo doesnt work, dent(s) in the drivers door, drivers side seat is tilted back to the right (kinda uncomfortable), and the radio harness was cut out of it. i am asking 3000 USD which i believe is a fair price considering the car runs great, drives good, has brand new tires all around, and is really quick. it has 152K miles on it and other than being a little uncomfortabe it is a great car to drive! if you want to see pics please look at my photo gallery.

Although that is in pretty decent shape,and what im after, im Looking for 5spd, and that looks to be auto, and also yer in Ohio, quite the trek for me....


Also, i dont know if anyones gunna answer this cuz, im not gettin for much feed back wit this thread but, how much money and what would it take to get a '85 323i to 200hp vs '85+ 325i to 200hp?? Which one would be the better performer?
