| droning rear end........... my buddy wanted me to post and ask if anyone else has experienced this, he has a '90 M3 with a 3.2/obd1 conversion, e36 euro m3 tranny, and e36 m3 diff the diff is in there with solid mounts, and also partially welded it, there is a droning noise that increases with speed, has anyone else had this happen. he is gonna try and use some rubber shims between the mounts and the body. any other ideas? btw, that car is really really fast

| Does it make the noise when the car dosen't move. if it does then check the driveline. other wise if it does it only when it moves i would bet my chips on the wheel bearings. pain in the ass to replace, part of the first thing i did to my car when i got it.

| it seems pretty loud for wheel bearings but we will check it out, we were kind of thinking it was vibrations from the ring and pinion being transfered through the solid mounts into the car, but when i was in the back it does seem to be comeing from the wheels.
