I have completely broken down my engien to nothing and resurfaced the head among other things from a blown headgasket. Everything is doin ok, no major problems. For the last couple days as i sit and wait for parts to arrive, i decided to paint engine components.
I took everything off the block, it still sits in the car, i decided not to paint the head just cause i don't think i will like how it looks, so its very clean. i painted the intake manifold and valve cover black and some other minor things blue to along with spark plugs that i had gotten a while ago. I wanted red but got the wrong ones and i can live with that, its just spark plug wires.
Here is a pic of how it looks still off the engine but togeather waiting for gaskets.
Im not sure if i want to sand down the strips/roundal on the intake and valve cover. they are all black and i didn't expect them to look this good. does anyone have any sugestions?
thanks
