Best Price on a D80

I have been looking on line and have forund Body with lens for as cheap as $550. This seems too cheap to be legit. Bodys are as cheap as $350? I Just want to see what you guys thought.

This will be a first SLR. I alread have a few lens from a friend but what is a good basic everything lens?

I was waiting to see what others thought before posting, but anyhow...

It does seem a bit too good to be true. I have been looking at getting a D80 since they were first released. They were about £700 over here back in October for body only and have dropped to about £550 now. (That's now about $1000 I think?!?) Where were you looking?

I'm sure someone on here can give you some opinions from your side of the pond!

Basically just type in "D80" in Google and see what happens.

Not even Ebay has these this cheap. Basically it seems like there is a catch but if not I may pick one up soon.

Too bad... they had a Canon XL2 for under $1K. I knew something was up.

screw that I am not dealing with that stuff I will just go to Ritz or a nother local store unless some one can recomond a online place that is trust worthy...
