| You're a madman. If I didn't have access to a 5D I would probably be considering doing the same. Do you shoot a lot of sports? If so, I would suggest keeping the 30D for the speed. I take my 20D to Limerock a lot over the summer and the 5 fps is nice! |

| Definitely. The 5D is killer for studio work and still shots in general. Especially when mated to the 24-70. The definition, saturation, and overall sharpness are insane. Josh has the 1Ds Mark II and it blew me away when he said that the 5D produces shots that are more similar in resolution to that bad mofo than he would ever have expected. It's a great camera to shoot with coming from the 20/30D because the controls are so similar, and you have so many more ISO gradients that can really come in handy when trying to get that "perfect" exposure. A few 5D / 24-70 shots: edit - Shots no longer hosted |

| wow.. I'm closer to the 5D than I thought I just remembered I have a handful of weddings that I'm doing in the next couple months.. I think that maybe by June-ish I may have it Those shots above are testament to my reasoning.. the camera is damn near perfect. the images are incredible, and with the right glass, you're talking about serious quality imagery! And the fact that I can buy it through costco makes it even more awesome :P
