looking for a new camera

hey guys,

i would like to know what kind of cameras u guys use. i have seen that a bunch uses the canon eos 350d. what are the others using?
and well do those cams serve you?

i am asking this because i'm going to buy a new camera and i'm not sure which one fits the best. i'm still a newbie but i'm really interessted in photography and editing.
is the maybe a good beginners model?

Yes we usually use 350D/XT, 400D/XTi, D50, D70, D80 to debute photography (for the SLR -Single Lens Reflex- world).

What's your budget?

budget is somewhere around 600-700$ (or better 500-600€ since i live in Germany

)

I think that you should buy a Canon 400D kitlens (18-55mm). But it's just my advice.

Nikon are good too. Micah will tell you that you should buy a D50
