why is it bad to wash car under sun

heres my question

why is it bad to wash car under the sun?

i have no where else to wash my car but Under the Sun.
is it really that bad?

Well the sun will dry the water quicker then it will leave water spots all over your car.

Yeah, that happens to me too. If i were you I would wait till dusk or until the sun isn't too intense... should give you enough time to dry/water blade it off.

Its actually pretty bad. See, after you moist your car, you have to wash it w/ soap, and that's the bad part. The soap might dry up on ur paint if you dont hurry up, and THAT leaves marks. You might wanna take it to a body shop and get is buffed out, if it's not that bad.

just make sure u wash ur car in parts.
eg do the top, then wash
side then wash
other side
etc
and try to keep the car wet the whole time..

it sux washing the car wen its cold out.. cuz the water seems to never dry..

Yes its bad to wash in the sun. The sun will heat up the paint (expand if you will) and the cold water will cool it too fast (shrink) so think spiderwebs

water spots are NOT good. And they're very difficult to remove! NEVER wash a car in the direct sunlight!

I'd avoid washing the car in direct sunlight.....it's really a pain in the ass rewashing the car again. Either wash i tearly in the morning or in late afternoon early evening. It's almost summer, the sun doesn't go down till like 7:30-8 so you have plenty of time to wash

you can wash your car in the sun if you have a hose that puts out distilled water....otherwise, just do it early in the morning or the evening.
