Need Paint Restoration help

Well, it seems the previous owner of my car didn't new what wax was So now my paint is faded/oxidized. I need to know the exact process including buffers, pads, and waxes/polishes/etc. you guys would use from step 1 to finish. I think I want to use zaino, so if you could make the steps custom to zaino that would be great. (however, for now I will just bring back the color then use up the meguirs wax I have, then order zaino and strip the meguiers wax when the zaino comes). Thanks!

hey see that in the past week i order about 300$ worth of goodies for detailing what i found people like to use... is the Porter Cable 7242 and the foam pads from http://www.properautocare.com/... check out the tread what products to get... one of the detailer on the forum made quite a nice list... ive never used zanio stuff im not sure if it works well with a buffer but im sure someone can answer that for u.. What Products to get?? u can get the buffer from http://www.properautocare.com/porcabuldetm.html that comes with the pads and the buffer for 150 its on sale i would suggest getting that... and for using the buffer http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums...1430487&page=1 this should help out alot... u should be able to bring it back to life with that stuff but its going to cost a pretty penny... would be cheaper to bring it to a pro unless u like doing it (like me)
