| Ok now I know this sounds strange but it works! Many of us have experienced getting wax stuck in our moldings at one time or another. Now I know they sell products such as Back to black and others , that all do the same thing. Yet I have another way of getting the wax out and it works really well. What you'll need: -->Peanut Butter (I used "Skippy") -->Cheap paint brush -->Scissors -->Rag Here's how -----> (1.) Take the paint brush and cut the bristles on it very short so that they're pretty stubby. ( I cut about 3/4" off of a brush that had 1" bristles) (2.) Take the brush and get some peanut butter on it, then start applying it to the molding where the wax is.(Apply the Peanut butter moderately with the brush) (3.) Now wipe the peanut butter off with the rag, and clean the bumper. (4.) Finally if u want to apply a product such as Back to Black, you will see that your bumper looks incredible , because there is no more wax stuck in it. ![]() Last edited by e36redbimmer : 04-08-2002 at 03:09 PM. |
