Wax?

Hi every1! What for a wax do you use? I don´t mentioned the bikini-wax

. Hope you can give me some tips for that wet look. Thanks!

This was posted before. But did you know Zymol was made by tutrle wax!!! ??? I switched over to mequiers ..cant spell.

Real Zymol is NOT made by Turtle Wax.

There is a product that is mass produced and sold over the counter under the Zymol name. Its in a blue cleaner wax in a plastic bottle. THIS is made by Turtle Wax and Zymol.

Real Zymol, such as Creme and Carbon Wax (comes in plastic jars in a paste form) is only available via mail order or some selected distributors.

Dude, you are right and wrong. Zymol low end Kmart stuff is rebadged Turtle Wax, all the stuff they sell on the Web is NOT. It is by far the highest quality wax you can buy!

What do you mean from the NET. If you buy it from the net its really made by Zymol not tutrle wax??? I dont get it.

The stuff from www.zymol.com is the real stuff. Its not made by Turtle Wax. The stuff you see at the local Pep Boys, KMart, etc was a product made by Turtle Wax using the Zymol name (Zurtle). Marketing, I guess.

Real zymol is good. Also expensive. There is a jar of wax they offer for like $1,400.

I'm going to order Zaino Bros. here pretty soon. They have gotten some pretty positive reviews from what I have read (not just on their site) so I'll let you know how it comes out in a couple weeks after I've gotten it on there.

Alright.. so for us guys who arent millionares and just want a decent wax to use every month or so, what do you suggest? Turtle wax?

I love 3M Imperial Hand Glaze and follow up with Meguair's Yellow Wax. Meguairs has great products.

I use Imperial Hand Glaze and Blitz Wax. I find Zymol to be too soft. Get whatever from Larry at Car care specialist 201 796-8300 or carcaresp@aol.com. He will give you good advise.

For just wax, I use Mother's Pure Carnauba Wax in the tin - old school

3M Imperial Hand Glaze isn't a wax at all by the way... It's great stuff, I use it every other time I wash my car. Makes it nice and shiny and keeps the lustre of the paint up

I use Blitz Wax, it's not too expensive and it gives the paint a very nice shine... that's after cleaning with a strong soap, using a clay bar, then paint cleaner/polish... then the wax.

Bottom line, is any wax is better then no wax! Just try to stay away from anything with silicone in it!!!

prep before wax is also really important, a nice glaze or polish. I really like 3M's Imperial hand Galze.
