Help guys I need to know the absolute best products to use to clean, wash, and wax my car! What works best for you, and what should I avoid at all costs?

Also any tips or methods you use to wash and wax your car would be appreciated.

How often should I wax the car?

Thanks,

ZAINOS ZAINOS ZAINOS ZAINOS ZAINOS

Once you try Zainos you won't go back to anything else. It goes on easy and comes off easy. They're web page has great instructions, and their products are awesome. Their whole kit is $60.00 and worth every penny.

I've never used Zaino's but a guy I work with swears by it and his Trans Am does look really nice.

I use Meguiars wash, then polish, then Gold Wax once every two months or so. On a normal weekend washing I Meguiars wash, then Meguiars quick wax.

I'm probably going to try the Zainos soon though. Anyone ever use an orbital buffer? I got one last year for Christmas, I'm just afraid to use it.

I was afraid of using one too-thought I would get swirlmarks and everything... Quite the opposite. That was the best purchase I've made. After using it, the finish was nearly flawless-as good as new.

When the weather breaks in the spring and I do the first official waxing of the year, I start off with:

1) Mother's clay product (once a year)
2) 3M swirl remover (I use the light color formulation-twice a year. First time is for the spring clean and the second is the last wax before winter)
3) 3M Imperial Hand Glaze (this is AWESOME!)
4) Meguairs Yellow Wax #9
5) Sometimes top it off with Zymol Carbon Wax (the real Zymol, not the mass produced bottled stuff from Turtle Wax/Zymol-Zurtle) for depth.
I always make sure to mist it with water to even out the wax and then do a final buff.

For maintanece inbetween washings and waxings, I use Meguairs Final Detail or Quik Detail. I picked up something by them called Quik Wax which is great to freshen up the wax until you can do a full wax.

I used to be the biggest Zymol fan-loved the HD Cleanse (which was a pain to remove) and the Zymol Carbon Wax. But I think the formula had changed-when I first started buying it, like 10 years ao, it used to last for a very long time. I've heard from other friends that experienced the same thing. It seems that its now better suited for a garage queen.

3 School of thought:

Zaino/ Zymol/Wax

All work to whoever cares to really discern the tiny subjective differences.

There are no shortcut to taking care of the clean & shine of your auto.
& nothing will fight off dirt, dust, salt, poop, goop short of protective metal armor!

You just gotta clean & apply & reapply & polish out. Regardless of what you use Carnauba wax or New-age polymers. Nothing looks good 1 day after you first buff. I don't care what anyone says.

So if you only want tips on How-tos: GO HERE FOR TUTORIALS

Good luck! Btw, I use fuschnicken's regimen & it works great!

TC M3 is a Permit Holder
There is a quick wax which the formula is called "W11" it is used in some BMW dealerships.....The paint looks really amazing after you aply it. The only thing is that the car should be relatively new..
