Wax question

ok guys i have a lexus gs300 and when i bought it the trunk door was repainted. the entire car looks good and shiny and the reflection is really sharp. but on my trunk lid the reflection isn't so sharp. what kind of wax could i use or what can i do to make my trunk look sharper in the reflections. its not really noticable but i'm really picky. i bought a bottle of Mcguire wax today from kragens haven't tried it yet but any suggestions?? and no i don't want to repaint my trunk.

also what causes it not to be as sharp as orignal paint?? cheap paint?? or does it just need a wax. HELP!!!!

Mcguires GOld Glass works really good... make sure your car is in the shade and not hot ...

It could be because of over-spray....It might need to be re painted or buffed out. Hand wax probably won't do the job.

Polish it, I'll suggest zymol. You can use a machine, or do it by hand, but prepare for a sore arm. Put the polish on the hood and buff it in with a terry cloth or clean cotton towel. Rub it really hard in a circular motion. When you look at the cloth it should have some polish on it and a little tint of paint that's the color of your car. Let the polish sit, then take another cloth or towel and wipe off the polish and put on wax.

IF you have a black car....I suggest you stay away from a machine...but if its another color....go for it

yes i do have a black car. thanks and i am going to do it by hand. man my right arm is already bigger than my left as it is. hahaha
