what buffer ?

im looking to get a buffer. I dont have experiance with any yet. before i go out and buy one i would to know what everyone eles uses and recomends.
where to get them and what other things i would need to uses the buffer (like the compounds and other stuff) I dont know if this makes a difference but I would be using this mostly on a black car. with polished wheels

links would be helpfull

For a machine that everyone been using for a long time and thats safe would be the PC, but they made faster machine that works just like the pc and is called the UDM.

What you would need to get for the PC or UDM is some pads. That would be some correcting, polishing,finishing, waxing pads. Just go with either lake country or edge 2000 pads. Then when you have the pads you would need some polish. Good ones are Poorboys, Menzerna, and Optimum

The hook and loop back plate is what the velcro pads stick to. You tighten the backplate to the porter cable. So when you done with one pad you can remove it and sticking a nothing pad to it.

Griots Garage has a setup that is real nice. Rubber backing plate for heat dissipation, speed variable, all the goods. Make sure not to go cheap on a buffer, if you like your car.

That site barely has that much stuff, Try autogeek. They have alot of stuff.
