Used a too course polish heelpp!

The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the sun came out for one day last saturday in rainy old Sydney town.

I decided to shine my new beast, but aaarrggghh I used a Kitten no. 2 Polish it was too course and now the area on the bonnet I polished has been dulled and has big swirl marks.

What do I do to get back the shine and get rid of the swirl marks?

Use the next finer (less abbrasive) polish and work your way down. Did you use a machine or by hand? If by machine use less aggresive pads.

Just like to make a quick mention that I used a slightly less intensive and abbrasive polish and I have rejuvinated my paint work I damaged by the coarse stauff thanks for the info guys
