Detailing: Waiting times between steps ??

Good day guys,

I'm starting soon with waxing some cars on a small scale. Would be working with the popular Poorboys, Pinnacle and ClearKote ranges.

Now,, what is (if any) the best interval to wait between buffing off of & applying between:

Swirl removal & Polish

Polish & Sealant

Sealant & Wax.

I figure I would dedicate 6 hours per car on a day (when booked out) and of course would want to get the most result out of a "busy day".

Polishes no wait, sealant let sit for 1 hour if possible before removing (make sure your inside!) then wait another hour before wax. Wax let dry then remove. Time is a big factor when your getting paid to do a detail unless your getting paid to sit and do nothing these times may need to be adjusted.

Thnx Dewey, yeah cause some relatives' cars i did dint get the result I was looking for/hoping for.

So after removing SSR2.5 there's no wait? same for after a glaze...

Nope, no wait after those. The waiting really is to help the products bond to the paint so the next step is not removing the previous step.
